At Frimley Health, we offer a comprehensive work experience programme that combines online learning with face-to-face placements. All prospective applicants are required to complete our Online Work Related Learning Programme (OWRLP) before arranging an in-person placement. This foundation course provides essential knowledge and insight into different roles within the NHS with a certificate available on completion. Please refer to the Work Experience Flow Chart, which outlines each step of the application and placement process in detail.
The first step of work experience with Frimley Health is to complete the online work-related learning programme (OWRLP). In the below table you will see application deadline to join an OWRLP cohort, the week that the OWRLP cohort takes place, and the in-person work experience weeks that you will be able to apply to upon completion of the programme:
| OWRLP Deadline | OWRLP Week | Eligible Work Experience Weeks |

|
| Tuesday 12th Jan 2027 | 18th – 22nd Jan 2027 |

| Tuesday 2nd March 2027 | 8th – 12th March 2027 |

Once you have completed your OWRLP week you will receive a certificate and be invited to apply to the corresponding in-person weeks.

Work experience applications will then be reviewed by our work experience team and marked based on merit.
